Anne’s passion for art started in grade school when she was growing up in New England. She moved to California to attend Marymount College in Palos Verdes, where she completed her BA degree in Art and English.  Her career as an art teacher was launched at Marymount High School and Marymount Grammar School before she moved to Palmdale. She taught 7^th grade at Sacred Heart School for several years, before raising her family, and subsequently devoted the next years using her talents in volunteer work, donating her time to designing and illustrating various art projects for local non-profit organizations’ charity events. During those years she co-founded the development of a Crime Prevention Court Tour Program  with the public schools’ 6^th graders.This volunteer program impacted the lives of thousands of students from every school district in the Antelope Valley, successfully performing for thirteen years.  Her art activities continued with private lessons and commissioned free-lance portraitures.

Anne was contracted with the Palmdale School District in 1994 as an Art Consultant/Instructor teaching before-and-after school Art Intersession with grades 1-7 at several school sites. She also was invited to help create and conduct, with the assistance of First and Second Grade teachers at Mesquite School, a tutoring program in English Intervention, working with small groups of students to aide in their reading skills. She continued in these capacities until June 2009.

During the summer of 2011, Anne volunteered her art expertise at Mt. Carmel Child Care Center in Lake Los Angeles, for their summer day care program, teaching art to ages 5-11. She is currently working part time as a Field Consultant for the Palmdale/Lancaster area for Odyssey Relocation Management.
