FAQ

1) What does Laity mean?

In the past few centuries the word has been used in relation to religious matters. The laity of a parish , or the laity of the church. This is not how it came to be for us. Call us sometime and we'll tell you the long story. But this is what it means in context with our company: The word "lay" derives from the Anglo-French lai (from Late Latin laicus, from the Greek, laikos, of the people, from, laos, the people at large). So Laity actually means "The Peoples Institute of the Arts."
