The Laity Advisory Board is a local and regional network of professional educators and performing artists who have agreed to give Laity meaningful help on a regular basis in many different areas, including educational support, organizational development, fundraising, technology, policy, outreach and recruitment. Their abilities, experience, and knowledge were selected for how they complement particular content areas within Laity and the organization as a whole.

The Board advises both the Artistic Director and the Executive Director on their strategic decision-making process. Sometimes questions will be posed to the whole group, sometimes individual members will be consulted. They are chosen not as a "list of names", but as a group of people we intend to interact with regularly.

All positions are voluntary and each member serves for one year.
