Our Mission
To creatively infuse students' minds with the skills, confidence, and motivation that Art, Animation, Drama, Fine Art, and Music cultivate for a lifetime of achievement and a passion for the Arts!
Our Philosophy
WE BELIEVE:
-
The Arts are to be the ultimate expression of communication between Humankind and, ultimately, between their Creator. So, Humankind does not think only in words, symbols, and pictures. Those words, characters, and images then become ideas, which we try to manifest and communicate externally with our hands, speech, and actions.
WE ALSO BELIEVE:
-
We can achieve positive change by seeking to understand and help mold and build the proper tools for our words, symbols, and pictures. We then can further help translate those concepts into creative, positive, well-thought-out ideas and innovations that serve the whole of humankind.
WE FURTHER BELIEVE:
-
All areas of human endeavor will benefit from a learned discipline in the arts. By projecting a positive, motivational program in the arts, all participants will gain a sense of structure and discipline in their lives and a genuine appreciation for the talents and gifts of others. The reciprocal actions will be successful in whatever they endeavor to pursue.
THEREFORE,
-
We believe that truth and excellence can be discovered at least through the medium of a painting, a symphony, a dance, or a play, as they can through the medium of a mathematical equation. We are passionately committed to discovering "Truth and Excellence Through the Visual and Performing Arts." Holding this belief allows little room for self-centered, social, financial, or political motivations. Artistic truth is fiercely impersonal.
